The art of Quilling

On Thursday 30th August, ten people met at Sting Office to attend the creative workshop offered by our artist Nehal.

During the three-hour workshop, Nehal shared with them her skills and knowledge on quilling paper and the participants demonstrated patience and dedication in cutting, gluing and shaping those small pieces of paper into animals, flowers and hearts.

Those artists-wanna-be left Sting’s office with their newly-created masterpieces and basic quilling paper skills.

For Nehal, this experience as been very enriching and she says:

For once I got the chance to teach to adults and not to kids and I loved it. It was a different experience. To see adults showing up to the workshop and being so willing to learn quilling paper really motivated me to give my best. They have been very surprised to discover skills they were not aware of, like creativity and patience. I was very glad to accompany them in this process, we were all very happy of the result. For sure I will repeat the experience again!
